ABOUT
Joshua is a photographer whose work is known for its playful, off-kilter view of the world. Traditional analogue techniques, unusual materials and a spirit of experimentation characterise much of his work, as he looks for beauty in unexpected places.
This spirit is reflected in Joshua’s most recent series, Colourscapes, where umbrellas hide in the shade, waterslides tangle in the trees and a flock of plastic flamingoes stare at the ground. With their super-saturated colours, mundane subjects become elevated into something provocative and witty.
Joshua’s work has been exhibited at Clerkenwell Design, London Design Week, the Curious Duke Gallery and the Affordable Art Fair.
Joshua is exclusively represented by The Artful Project.

In 2017, I drove 3,500 miles from Las Vegas to Miami in 2017. America's signs are like candy for the road tripper, often beautiful, surprising and funny. They could also appear quite surreal against their expansive backdrops. I See Voices is a collection of words and messages that spoke to me on this trip.

COINOP_LONDON 2018
While high streets become ever more homogenous, launderettes are one of the few businesses that retain their individuality. But they're an endangered species, with launderettes closing every year across the UK.
Coinop_London is an ambitious project to visit every launderette in the city - that's over three hundred of them. The aim is to document these important institutions of the community, celebrating their design, personality and humanity.
Follow the project on Instagram at Coinop_London.
